Is Intuit an accredited ASP?

No. Intuit does not appear on the MoF list of accredited providers, which has 80 entries as of 28 Oct 2026. Intuit staff answered in the QuickBooks community:

We found no later official Intuit announcement. Plan on a third-party accredited ASP that connects to QuickBooks Online, or on changing software. Ask Intuit before you commit, in case its position has changed.

Choosing an ASP for QuickBooks Online

Choose from the MoF accredited list and ask each provider:

  1. Do you have a live QuickBooks Online connector (API or app), or is it upload only? Ask for a reference customer.
  2. Does the connector send invoices and credit notes, and does it write the status (accepted or rejected) back to QuickBooks?
  3. How does it hold the fields that QuickBooks Online does not have, such as the buyer TIN, unit codes and transaction-type flags?
  4. What does it cost per invoice or per year, and what is the setup fee?
  5. Does it also receive supplier e-invoices for you?

Before you sign, check the provider's name and accreditation number against the MoF list.

Data to prepare in QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online has no native PINT AE fields. Store the data where your connector can read it, usually in custom fields or a field mapping agreed with the ASP.

Area What to prepare
Company settings Legal name as on the trade licence, TRN, address with emirate, and AED as home currency
Your TIN First 10 digits of your TRN. This is your Peppol participant ID (scheme 0235)
Customers Legal name, TRN, TIN, full address with emirate, and B2B, B2G or B2C type. Add a custom field for TIN if your connector needs one
Products and services VAT code (standard 5%, zero-rated, exempt or out of scope), a clean description, and a consistent unit of measure (custom field if needed)
VAT settings Check that the UAE VAT codes are mapped correctly. PINT AE needs tax category codes
Multicurrency Keep exchange rates so that the AED VAT amounts can be shown on foreign-currency invoices
Credit notes Record a reason on every credit note. Reason codes are mandatory in PINT AE v1.0.1
Invoice numbering Use one unique, sequential numbering series. Avoid editing invoices after they are issued

Step-by-step preparation

  1. Now: decide whether you will stay on QuickBooks Online with a connector or move to software that has its own ASP (for example Zoho Books or TallyPrime). Make this decision by Dec 2026.
  2. Nov 2026: shortlist 2 or 3 ASPs from the MoF list that have a proven QuickBooks Online connector, and ask them the five questions above.
  3. Nov to Dec 2026: clean up the customer list (TRN, TIN and addresses) and the products list (VAT codes and units). Add the custom fields your chosen connector requires.
  4. Jan to Feb 2027: sign with your ASP, then appoint it in EmaraTax (open your taxable person, go to E-Invoicing, select the ASP and submit). Your ASP will register your Peppol ID.
  5. Feb to Mar 2027: connect the app to QuickBooks Online and map the fields (customer TIN, units, tax categories and credit-note reasons).
  6. By 31 Mar 2027: confirm that EmaraTax shows the ASP as appointed.
  7. Apr to Jun 2027: run test invoices and credit notes through the connector, compare the results with QuickBooks Online, and agree who in your team fixes rejections.
  8. 1 Jul 2027: issue every B2B and B2G invoice through the connector. Check every day that the status in QuickBooks Online matches the ASP portal.

Risk note: with QuickBooks Online, compliance depends on a third-party connector. If no reliable connector exists by Feb 2027, change software instead of waiting.
